TERMS & CONDITIONS OF USING MAXCOM TECHNOLOGIES Products, Services, Website:

DEAR CUSTOMER, By confirming your purchase from MAXCOM TECHNOLOGIES, you agree to accept & pay for the products/services requested (for updated T&C please visit http://maxcom.ae/terms). As a CUSTOMER, you agree and confirm on the following: 1) All electronic items are designed to work on 220-240V. If you do not have facilities to operate on this electricity voltage, then use of the equipment is at your own risk. We will not accept back any products that have been damaged due to use with faulty electrical sources. Please check  the product manual, datasheet or installation guide (hard copy or soft website version) before use to see if your product meets the local requirements required for safe operation. Items without weatherproof IP rating must be used only indoors without any exposure to humidity, heat, etc. 2) In the event of a non-delivery occurs on account of a mistake by you (i.e. wrong name, address,etc), any extra cost incurred by MAXCOM for redelivery shall be claimed from.  If upon confirmation your details are found not to be true, MAXCOM has the right, in its sole discretion to reject the registration and ban you from using our services. 3) That you are transacting through Online Payment service providers to process payment at your sole risk. 4) That before placing an order you will check the product description carefully. By placing an order for a product you agree to be bound by the conditions of sale included in the item's description and understand/accept that MAXCOM is not liable for work beyond described scope, product features, electric fluctuations, 3rd party hardware (including PC, Mac, mobile devices, tablets, networking, etc.), software, apps, operating systems, Internet, wireless (WiFi) connection limitations, in addition to limitations to DU/Etisalat networks. 5) That agrees with the below terms and conditions:

REGISTRATION PROCESS: By contacting us you agree to receive emails, phone calls, messages from Maxcom Technologies.PRODUCT INFORMATION: MAXCOM encourages customers to see the product prior to purchase. Customers are sent product information (images, datasheets) in advance. The colors of our products that appear on the Website / product datasheets/ manuals will be displayed as accurately as possible.

PAYMENT: If we have to cancel the order after we received the payment, the said amount will be reversed back to you  with a cheque. No cash disbursement shall be made under any condition whatsoever. In case of cancellation of orders for supply and installation of Maxcom products labour/delivery charges / payment service providers fees/ fitting materials cost will be deducted. In case of cancelation of orders for MAXCOM services (which were paid in advance) only credit notes can be issued if the service was not conducted. In case if customer has not processed full payment after receiving goods and services MAXCOM has a right to remove the installed system and void technical support/warranty.

CANCELLATION BY CUSTOMER: If cancellation notice from your side is duly received by MAXCOM and the order has not been processed /approved by MAXCOM , we shall cancel the order and refund the entire amount except bank/card/online payment fees. MAXCOM will not be able to cancel orders that have already been shipped out by us or installation of product has already started or services provided.  The customer agrees not  to dispute the decision made by MAXCOM and accept  MAXCOM’s decision  regarding this matter. If MAXCOM accepts order deductions will be as follows: 10% of the goods cost will be deducted by Maxcom in addition to  full quoted labour (scope of work), fitting materials, delivery, payment providers fees (bank, card payment, Paypal fees).

INDEMNITY/LIABILATY LIMITATION: You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless MAXCOM &  its affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, costs and expenses, including attorneys' fees, arising from or related to your use of MAXCOM products, services, its website or any breach by you of these Terms and ConditionsEXCHANGE / REFUND POLICY: We urge customers to study offered products (systems), proposals at the time of purchase and select them carefully. No refund will be made if you change your mind after purchase for any reason. Customer can exchange his purchase within 7 days (subject to MAXCOM’s approval). If the same item is not available in stock the customer accepts to wait until stock arrives otherwise MAXCOM has a right to offer other item(s). In case of return credit note will be issued valid for 3 months (no cash refunds will be issued). In case if a customer has placed downpayment against his purchase in order to book his goods, MAXCOM  will issue a credit note on his request against the paid amount valid for 3 months. Exchange/return is subject to the items condition and MAXCOM TECHNOLOGIES approval as per below conditions:A) The decision on refund will vary on case to case basis and there will be certain criteria’s for that: Unable to procure products: a reasonable time (subject to location). Proof of purchase must be presented (receipt). If the product is not available then a full refund will be made to the customer (if there are any charges occurred during this transaction such as delivery charges, payment processing fees, labour  they must be beard by the customer). B) The product refund is applicable only if the product is malfunctioning and not repairable upon receiving the malfunctioned  unit back. C) The product will be refunded at current prevailing price. The settlement of the refund will only be affected once the bank has refunded the money which is next billing cycle from the date of application of refund  (up to 3 weeks). Refund will be made through cheque. If the Customer wishes to receive his refund cheque with a courier or via Bank TT he must bear occurred charges (transfer fees, delivery charges).

REFUND CONDITIONS: You cannot return purchase if  you changed your mind or you don’t have use for purchased products. Provided that the merchandise is unused, should be in in its original packaging (ie. with plastic, stickers, label, etc). & with consumables (CD’s or DVD’s, manual, quick installation guide), accessories (cables, charger, batteries, screw, etc.), refund can be granted upon MAXCOM’s approval within 7 calendar days after delivery. However the delivery charge or any other charges occurred during purchase will be charged to Customer. Please keep your items with their complete full box and inside packing if you intend to refund any items within the conditions below.  Defective goods (with manufacturing defect)  must be sent to MAXCOM within 7 days, a replacement with the same piece (after receiving the defective piece) will be granted upon MAXCOM approval. Cost of sending the item via a courier back to MAXCOM must be bared by a customer.

WARRANTY: Warranty terms are specified in an invoice. Warranty is applicable towards components that failed due to manufacturing defects. Should there be any problems with the product, you need to deliver the item to MAXCOM’S office where trained person will check the item within 2 working days. If the items is repairable it will be sent to manufacturer for repair (repair period is subject to manufacturer and might take up to 2 months). Warranty offers repair/replacement of defective components within the warranty period but DOES NOT offer a refund, exchange, or upgrade. User errors, accidents, or acts of God are not covered by the warranty. If the item is abused, handled improperly, has burnt circuitries, dropped, stepped on, etc. the damage will NOT be covered by the manufacturer's warranty. If the item is not repairable you will received a replacement covered by the same warranty policy issued at the time of initial purchase (no extended warranty is applied). Any product misuse will void warranty.

TECHNICAL SUPPORT: MAXCOM provides its best technical support to its customers: answering questions via phone, email, online remote sessions. Site visits are subject to sole discretion of MAXCOM and chargeable depends on location. In case of installation of WiFi (wireless) IP camera system, it’s customer’s responsibility to provide good strong Wi-Fi signal reaching to a camera (s), power sockets within 1.5 to 3m from a camera point. If WiFi signal can not be extended to cameras due the site’s infrastructure, a customer will be offered to have cameras hard-wired. If MAXCOM installs networking devices on the customer’s site it’s only for getting WiFi signal from a router to a camera and doesn’t cover other network issues of the Customer’s site. 

Paid visits during valid technical support period are applicable for the following: 1) If a Customer changed his/her router after MAXCOM’s installation and cameras require reconfiguration (remote online session or site visit);2) If a Customer’s DVR/NVR got blocked due to multiple wrong password entry (Password recovery);  a Customer is responsible to create and store his own login credentials.3) Adding a new device for remote monitoring setup;4) Recordings retrieval & additional training on the installed system (At the time of system handover MAXCOM provides training on the system including recordings retrieval, etc.).MAXCOM is not responsible for the 3rd parties devices (smartphones, tablets, PCs, monitors, apps, softwares, OS used for remote viewing) & Internet providers limitations. In case of product misuse by a Customer, not following MAXCOM technical support recommendations on the installed system MAXCOM has a right to void any further  support.
